Security surveillance
IP (internet protocol) networking enables BT to offer security surveillance over the network. BT can design, supply, install, support and maintain your networks and, utilising IP infrastructure for applications such as CCTV, access and lighting control, can now bring disparate security technologies together to form a complete surveillance solution.

- Utilises existing network infrastructure - no need for separate or additional CCTV circuits.
- Digital image storage - better quality images you can depend on.
IP surveillance allows you to transmit CCTV images using IP addressable cameras or servers, thus saving on expensive cabling. Each camera has its own IP address and via central management software, can be accessed by authorised users at any location on the network, or across the internet, using PCs, laptops and PDAs.
