Meridian Norstar – withdrawal from new supply

From 1 July 2006 and in line with EU directive 2002/95/EC, BT can no longer supply new Meridian Norstar systems.

The restriction applies to the sale of new systems only. Extension and line modules and extra terminals can still be purchased and software upgrades can still be supported, depending on the age and type of system you have. Meridian Norstar maintenance contracts and the supply of spares are unaffected.

The freephone Norstar Adviceline on 0800 378822 will remain open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Norstar voicemail and call centre

Norstar Call Pilot 100 is the ideal solution for businesses that want advanced applications but whose budget means they have to start small and pay as they grow.

  • Voicemail provides round-the-clock voice messaging and auto attendant for between 20 and a maximum of 40 users. You can add mailboxes and features as you grow and pay only for what you use.
  • Basic call centre extends up to ten active (20 configurable) operators and two queues. An optional call centre reporting package is available.
