Nortel integrated DECT
Nortel integrated DECT (digitally enhanced cordless telephony) works with Meridian 1 to improve the speed, ease, reliability and cost-effectiveness of your on-site communications. Its micro-cellular network of base stations located in strategic positions can provide full on-site mobility.
- On systems with pre-release 25 software, it can support between 64 handsets and 32 base stations to 2,350 handsets and 256 base stations depending on which Meridian option you are operating.
- Release 25 software combined with DMC8 (DECT meridian card) hardware allows for more handsets and can let you be in contact across different sites, making and taking calls as if at your usual workplace.
- Choose between fixed or cordless handsets - MADN (multiple appearance directory number) enables your cordless handset and fixed desk telephone to ring simultaneously when a call is received. You can answer either handset.
- Available handsets are the C4010Ex, designed for hazardous atmospheres, the C4020, which includes a headset and the C4050, with its extensive range of features.
